Engr. Aireen M. Babagay. Dean of the College of Engineering, exemplifies both leadership and dedication. She is a licensed Electrical Engineer and Registered Master Electrician, holding a Master in Engineering degree. Her professional journey began as a lead technician in a solar power company before transitioning to academia in 2011 as an instructor, while also managing numerous electrification projects. Over the years, she has taken on key administrative roles such as OSS Coordinator and Alumni Coordinator. contributing significantly to the academic community. Engr. Babagay is also a dedicated coach, leading quiz teams to consistent victories, reflecting her strong mentorship. Her research interests lie in renewable energy, focusing on solar power and sustainable solutions. She also achieved 6th place in the Registered Master Electrician Licensure Examination, showcasing her academic excellence. Central to her teaching philosophy is the belief that passion is the key to inspiring students to reach their full potential. As Dean, she continues to lead with vision and commitment, shaping the College of Engineering into a center of innovation and excellence, preparing future engineers for the challenges of a rapidly evolving world.
